Daniel was trying to play UNO with some people who were not following his "rules" and he said: "We just need to pull out the constructions!"

Booger Kiss

Daniel: Dad I kissed you so hard a booger came out.
Me: Great son.

Important Stuff

While watching the "World Report":

Daniel: What is that?
Melanie: That is baseball.
Daniel: Why aren't they showing important stuff?

We were at the library and they had a small display of Jack and the Beanstalk. I asked Daniel:

"You know this story, who sells their cow for some magic beans?"

Daniel replies very seriously "The Warner Brothers."

Daniel "I wonder what shirt Daddy is wearing today?"

me: what?????

"Meet this Grandma..."

At Daniels birthday party he showed Melanies mom from the door into the party. Wanting to get away quickly to play with his friends he brought her to my mom and said "Grandma meet this grandma". Then assuming they were occupied he ran to play with his friends.

Where I came from

We took a pregnant lady to the doctor yesterday and this was one of our conversations.

Daniel: "Before I came here to earth I lived way way up in the sky with Jesus. Then he put me in my mommy's tummy and I was there for a few days. After that the doctor got me out of her tummy. But Alice was still up in Heaven with Jesus. And that's where I came from."

Coyote Ugly

We were cleaning the basement. Daniel found the movie "Coyote Ugly" and ran over to me and excitingly said

"Mom it's a picture of my aunts!!"

Medium

Alice was crying not sleeping during her nap. I asked Daniel to go in and check to see if she was laying down or standing up.

His reply: "She's medium."

Me: "what?"

Daniel: "she's medium."

Bless Jesus

Sometimes Daniel blesses Jesus in his prayers. This took the cake:

"Please bless Jesus and his wife Mary to sleep good."
